Santa Fe Island, Galápagos

Pale yellow land iguanas are found here on Santa Fe Island and nowhere else in the Galápagos. Sea lions joyfully surfed near the beach and an endemic rice rat poked its head out of its tree trunk home. A large male sea lion presented an imposing view but not at all threatening.
