Chinese Hat Island, Galápagos

The official name of the island, Sombrero Chino, reflects the shape of the landscape of this small island southeast of Santiago Island. Sesuvium vegetation is colorful in June at the start of the Garùa season. Sally lightfoot crabs, sea lions, oystercatchers, brown pelicans, marine iguanas, and Blue-footed boobies were present on this rainy morning.
